Raw Chocolate Mousse with Avocado

Do you LOVE chocolate, but feel a bit guilty when you eat it? Try this recipe to experience a beautiful, natural dessert – raw and free of sugar, wheat, gluten, soya, and diary.

Chocolate Mousse step by step

RawChocolate Mousse

10 Medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 1 hour in water
1 Avocado ripe
3tsp. Coconut oil, melted
3-4tsp. Raw cacao powder
1tsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp. Lucuma (optional)
1/2tsp. Maca (optional)


1. Soak the medjool dates in water for 1 hour.

2. Melt the coconut oil and add the raw cacao powder, lucuma and maca. One teaspoon lucuma is enough for the creamy feeling of the chocolate mousse. It’s got a rich, creamy texture and will turn your raw food creations into gourmet heavenly delights.

3. Place the medjool dates in a high speed blender cover them with water and blend until you have a smooth texture. If you don’t have a blender, you can use a hand blender.

4. Add the avocado in pieces and the rest of the ingredients.
