Raw Bonbons
One recipe – three desserts! The only thing you need is a food processor!
When I made these Bonbons for my parents (for the first time) they couldn’t believe that these sweets are free of white sugar, white flour, gluten, diary and soy.
Walnut Chocolate Bonbons
Cup of raw walnuts or almonds
5 medjool dates or 3 tsp. honey
1/2 cup of coconut flakes
Handful raisins
3 tsp. raw cacao powder
8 tsp. coconut oil, melted
Vanilla extract
1 tsp. maca (optional)
1 tsp. lucuma (optional)
Gently melt the coconut oil. Add in the raw cacao powder, lucuma (optional) and maca (optional). Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until mixture becomes smooth. Taste it and adjust sweetness. Be creative with measurements and forms. Press down with a spoon into moulds and make bonbons, rolls, cake, balls or small tarts. Cover with melted raw chocolate made of coconut oil and raw cacao powder. Freeze for an hour and you are ready to surprise your friends.
